Allison Browne, BS, CCLS
Developmental Therapist

Allison graduated from Purdue University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Science, specializing in Child Health and Development. Her career began in Poughkeepsie, New York where she started her training as a Certified Child Life Specialist at Vasser Brothers Medical Center. From New York she traveled to Philadelphia to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and has finally landed at Duke University Medical Center here in Durham.

Her unique training and past experiences have provided her with specialized expertise when interacting with families of infants, toddlers and young children. She is a strong advocate for early intervention and has specific experience working with children who are medically fragile. Allison is also a mommy to a fun and vibrant little girl, so she truly understands what life with a young child is all about. She looks forward to serving you and your family as a Developmental Therapist soon!
