Christy graduated with honors from NC State University, attaining a
B.A. in Psychology, B.S. in Spanish, and a B.S. in Biology with a minor
in Genetics.  She has volunteered with children in the medical setting
for more than ten years, including working in a surgical ward in Mexico.
During her undergraduate studies, she completed an internship
researching memory formation and suggestibility in children. Prior

to working as a developmental therapist, Christy taught as a lead
preschool teacher, incorporating music, movement, art, and laughter
into every possible moment of the day's curriculum. Her professional interests include constructive play-based therapies and the
empowerment of parents. Christy provides therapy to both English
and Spanish speaking families.
